Make the path from first interest to consultation easier to understand. I help hormone therapy businesses connect positioning, creative, acquisition, and follow-up under a practical growth plan.
By Justin Ingram · Telehealth marketing strategist & fractional CMO · Updated October 20, 2026
Hormone replacement therapy marketing needs a clear explanation of the service and a well-run consultation process. A founder needs to see where people hesitate, how inquiries are handled, and whether marketing is producing the right conversations. My work focuses on the commercial journey around the care team, with a clear separation between marketing activity and clinical decision-making.
A decade of medical marketing experience, with telemedicine funnels, ads, and campaigns since 2020, informs how I approach the work.
FROM STRATEGY TO EXECUTION.
01
Define the audience and service
Review the business model, service area, consultation process, and the questions prospective customers need answered. Clarify which services the brand actually offers rather than treating every hormone-related search as the same audience. Align messaging with the provider’s review process.
02
Connect education to an appropriate next step
Review landing pages for service clarity, expectations, contact options, and friction. Build a path that helps someone understand the consultation process without relying on an unsupported treatment promise. Connect that path to a defined inquiry stage in the CRM.
03
Coordinate creative and follow-up
Develop a creative testing plan and a consistent message across ads and pages. Map response handling, scheduling, reminders, and team ownership. Distinguish campaign performance from operational issues such as unanswered inquiries or limited appointment capacity.
04
Measure quality beyond lead volume
Review qualified inquiries, scheduled consultations, attendance where available, and new-customer outcomes within the appropriate reporting environment. Compare acquisition cost with customer value while documenting which stages are measured and which remain unknown.

EXPERIENCE YOU CAN EXAMINE
The work, with context.
The linked case studies document broader healthcare and acquisition experience. They are not presented as hormone-therapy-specific outcomes. The starting point for your program is your own baseline.
The work connects positioning, service pages, creative, channel planning, consultation funnels, follow-up, and acquisition measurement. I help you decide which constraint to address first and coordinate delivery across your team. A useful plan reflects how your business actually serves customers, including its service area and consultation process, rather than applying the same campaign to every hormone-care offering.
Should TRT, menopause, and other HRT services have separate landing pages?+
When the services and buyer questions are genuinely different, separate pages can make the offer and next step clearer. Each page should explain the actual service, who provides it, the consultation process, and relevant expectations, with clinical content reviewed by your care team. I avoid duplicating one page with swapped keywords; distinct pages need distinct substance and a clear place in the site navigation.
How does marketing differ for a local hormone clinic and a telehealth brand?+
A local clinic needs a journey grounded in its real location, appointment availability, and service area. A telehealth brand needs clear information about where it can serve customers and how virtual consultations work. I align targeting, pages, inquiry routing, and reporting with that operating model. Expansion into another geography starts with your team confirming service readiness, not simply adding a location keyword.
Can hormone therapy providers run paid advertising?+
Potential channels need a review of the specific service, claims, geography, and current platform requirements. Google’s US policy lists certification requirements for telemedicine providers facilitating prescribing. I help organize account ownership, destination review, and launch checks before media spend increases. Platforms make approval decisions; marketing setup cannot guarantee uninterrupted delivery or replace your clinical and legal review.
How do you improve the consultation funnel for HRT or TRT?+
Start by locating the drop-off: people may be unclear about the service, unable to find the next step, waiting too long for a response, or failing to attend a booked consultation. I map the page, inquiry, scheduling, reminder, and handoff experience, then prioritize a specific change. Clinical eligibility and treatment recommendations remain with your care team.
Review qualified inquiries, bookings, attendance when measured, first-time customers, and the cost associated with each stage. Track recurring revenue and retention separately from acquisition. A cheaper inquiry is not automatically a better customer. We agree on the definitions and reporting period before evaluating creative or channels, so a change in lead volume does not obscure a change in quality or capacity.
Can you set up tracking without sending sensitive patient details to ad platforms?+
Yes. The measurement plan separates permitted marketing events from clinical intake and sensitive health information. I review consent, URLs, event names, payloads, and tool requirements before collection. Some outcomes belong only in controlled first-party reporting. Server-side tracking is not a workaround for data restrictions, and attribution should describe its coverage gaps rather than suggest that every journey is fully visible.
Do you create ads and coordinate follow-up, or only provide advice?+
My role can include messaging, creative briefs, testing direction, landing-page priorities, and CRM follow-up requirements alongside strategic leadership. The engagement assigns ownership for production, media buying, integrations, and approvals. I can work with your existing specialists and keep their work connected to the same acquisition objective, rather than forcing a new team or technology stack.
Build around the services actually offered and the questions customers need answered before a consultation. That includes clear service pages, appropriate local or telehealth information, coherent internal links, and sound technical foundations. Clinical explanations need qualified review. We evaluate relevant search demand and inquiries over time; publishing more pages by itself is not evidence of stronger visibility or more customers.
What does working together cost, and what should we bring to a first call?+
My fractional CMO engagements are scoped in the $5,000–$10,000 monthly range, with media, software, and production responsibilities clarified in the proposal. Bring your website, service areas, business goals, current team, and recent aggregate funnel or performance reports. We can assess the initial marketing problem without patient records, then agree on access and the most useful starting scope.
